This will be a free, recurring virtual seminar with rotating Task Force (TF) lecturers. The North American members of the Task Force on Management of the Difficult Airway will inaugurate these events, with our international TF members following at future dates. Speaking TF members and their topics will be announced prior to the events.

The fourth iteration of the ASA Guidelines for Management of the Difficult Airway were adopted by the ASA House of Delegates in October '21 at the Annual Meeting in San Diego. These Guidelines represent two and one-half years of work by the 15 member Task Force on Management of the Difficult Airway. There are major changes to the Guidelines including an expanded scope, the inclusion of a decision tree tool, an updated Difficult Airway Algorithm, and an expert opinion based Infographic. There are controversial issues in the Guidelines that the TF members would like to address, as well as field your live questions.
